At Salon Twenty-Ten you will receive the same great service and as always all of those fantastic Aveda products & Aveda hair color. A Personal Message From Andrea Powell, Owner of Atmospheres Salon.

Atmospheres was opened five years ago as a dream of mine to bring Savannah the best Aveda Concept Salon it had ever seen. While the salon was being built by my husband, I was also pregnant with our beautiful son. It was a wild and seemed impossible journey at times but we finally opened the doors on January 14th, 2007. Over the years we have steadily grown the business. This year we proudly reached our highest achievement of "Blue Topaz" level with Aveda Corporation. This was a first ever for a Savannah Aveda Salon. On my personal side, our son has also been growing up into a fine little boy. However, he was born with a birth defect called Microtia. Microtia means "little ear". He was born with no eardrum and just an ear lobe. Over the years we have researched and planned our path forward for treating his "little ear". This summer we met some of the top surgeons in the world that specialize in Microtia repair. Our son was accepted as a candidate and is scheduled for one small procedure this January in Nashville and the rest next summer in Los Angeles. During the later procedures we will be spending many weeks in California. While we are very excited for our son, it also put is in a dilemma. How do we run the salon during all of this time away from home? The answer was....we cannot. I made the painful decision to close Atmospheres and let my fantastic staff know in our September salon meeting. It was probably one of the hardest things I have ever done. During this time I also went looking for another salon team to join. I reached out to several of my favorite stylists who a few years ago got together and formed Salon 2010. It felt like home as soon as I walked in the door. It turns out most of the staff at Atmospheres will be making the move with me. While closing Atmospheres has filled me with sorrow, having my Atmospheres family wanting to move with me has made my decision an easy one. But most importantly knowing my son will soon be past some very big hurdles means everything to me. Thank you for reading my story and for all of your continued support.
